Igloo have an opportunity for a Stores Person role available in the Sandtoft area. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work within one of the leading automotive companies within the UK. Igloo recruit for many roles on the behalf of this client across the UK.

The Role:

As a stores person you will be required to ensure parts are in stock and prepared ready to be signed out to technicians and the bodyshop team. The role will involve undertaking the below tasks:

  • Checking stock levels both within the stores department and with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Ordering parts from suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Updating internal systems and spreadsheets.
  • Putting parts away in locations within the stores department.
  • Loading and unloading racking using a Counterbalance FLT.
  • Lots of communication will be required with suppliers and manufacturers, you will be chasing up ETA’s on deliveries, rectifying any incorrect orders and general enquiries regarding parts.

What kind of person we are looking for?:

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and experienced stores person that can hit the ground running and wants to work within a busy parts department.

Some key qualities for this role are listed below:

  • Confident of working with computer systems and a knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Hold a valid and in date Counterbalance FLT license.
  • Preferably you will have previous experience of working within a parts or stores role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player.
