QC Inspector

We are currently recruiting for an experienced QC Inspector to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced workshop and bodyshop environment, ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before progressing through the next stage of the process.

The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail and experience identifying and recording vehicle damage accurately.

The Role:

As a QC Inspector, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out detailed vehicle inspections within agreed timeframes
• Identifying and recording bodywork and cosmetic damage
• Using handheld tablets and systems to log vehicle condition reports
• Ensuring estimates and inspection records are completed accurately
• Adding and identifying parts required for repairs using internal systems
• Supporting workshop and bodyshop teams to maintain vehicle quality standards
• Following all health & safety procedures and site processes
• Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail at all times

The Person:

• Previous experience in vehicle inspection, QC, or a similar automotive role
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
• Confident using handheld devices or tablet-based systems
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills
• Awareness of workshop health & safety procedures
• Full UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 points for minor offences)
