Panel Beater

We are currently recruiting for experienced Panel Beaters to join a busy automotive bodyshop in Livingston. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a Temp to Perm position within a modern workshop, repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.

We are looking for skilled and motivated individuals with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs.

The Role:

As a Panel Beater, your responsibilities will include:

• Realigning damaged vehicle panels.
• Stripping and refitting vehicle components.
• Repairing and replacing damaged body panels.
• Fitting new panels to manufacturer standards.
• Applying filler and carrying out panel repairs to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Completing repairs on a range of passenger and commercial vehicles.
• Ensuring all repairs are completed to company and manufacturer standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Working efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets.

The Person:

• Previous experience working as a Panel Beater within an automotive bodyshop is essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods.
• Ability to demonstrate experience across all aspects of panel repair and replacement.
• Own hand tools, including hammers and blocks, are preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
