Outbound Vehicle Inspector

We are currently recruiting for an experienced QC / Outbound Vehicle Inspector to join a busy fleet operation in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle inspector to work within a professional automotive environment, ensuring vehicles meet the required standards before being despatched to customers.

The Role:

As a QC / Outbound Vehicle Inspector, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out quality control inspections on vehicles prior to despatch.
• Completing cosmetic checks to identify any damage, defects or presentation issues.
• Carrying out GDPR checks within vehicles and ensuring relevant information is removed or addressed.
• Completing PDC checks, including checking vehicle levels and general condition.
• Checking vehicle paperwork to ensure it is complete and accurate before despatch.
• Carrying out minor mechanical checks where required.
• Identifying and reporting any issues that need to be addressed before vehicles are released to customers.
• Ensuring vehicles meet the required quality and presentation standards before despatch.

The Person:

• Previous vehicle inspection experience is essential.
• Experience carrying out quality control or outbound vehicle inspections is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to inspections.
• Good understanding of vehicle condition and presentation standards.
• Able to identify and accurately report defects or issues.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team.
• Reliable, organised and able to work in a busy fleet environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
