Mechanical Supervisor

Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor in Nottingham. The role offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive companies who have operations across the country.

The Role:

Within the Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Supervising and motivating a team of automotive technicians.
• Review daily tasks and ensure that the team are meeting the targets and KPI’s.
• Ensure that the work is being completed to a high standard.
• You will be supporting HR With managing staff absences, approving holidays, managing staff meetings, reviewing staff performances and skills testing any potential new starters.
• Complete daily reports for the Operations Manager.
• Ensure that your team are complying with H&S regulations.

What kind of person we are looking for?:

• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience is essential.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Must be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office – Outlook and Excel.
• Strong communication skills.
