Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for Master Technicians in Upper Heyford. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive companies who have operations across the country.

The Role:

As a Master Technician you will be working on all makes and models of vehicles and you will typically be undertaking the below:

  • Diagnose faults on vehicles; road test as necessary (subject to appropriate license).
  • Repair, service, maintain and inspect all vehicles as requested by Workshop Manager.
  • Carry out vehicle inspection (routine and pre-MOT) according to Company schedules.
  • Comply with Company and statutory safety rules within workshop and throughout all vehicle repair operations.
  • Miscellaneous workshop duties (e.g. parts fitment) on instruction from Workshop Manager.
  • Report any sub-standard work identified to the Workshop Manager.

What kind of person we are looking for?:

  • You must hold a relevant Master Vehicle Technician qualification.
  • Previous experience within the same role is essential.
  • You must be able to demonstrate your knowledge as a vehicle technician.
  • Must be reliable and hard working.
  • You must have a positive attitude.
  • You will need to hold a full category B driving license with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
  • Must work well under pressure.
