Driver

We are currently recruiting for Compound Drivers to join a busy automotive operation in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for confident drivers to work within a large vehicle compound, moving a wide range of vehicles safely and efficiently.

The Role:

As a Compound Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Moving vehicles safely around a large outdoor compound, including parking bays and workshops.
• Driving a wide range of vehicles, including standard cars, high-performance and high-value models.
• Driving vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks before moving vehicles and reporting any damage or issues.
• Ensuring vehicles are parked correctly and safely within designated areas.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For:

• Full UK Driving Licence with no points on the licence.
• Must be 23 years of age or over.
• Confident driving a range of vehicle makes and models.
• Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles is essential.
• Previous professional driving experience is desirable.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a professional approach to work.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety boots are essential.
