Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This role is key to ensuring vehicles meet the required standards before moving through the next stage of the process.

The Role:

As a Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out initial inspections on newly arrived vehicles.
• Identifying and recording any damage, defects or missing items.
• Using handheld tablets or systems to log inspection results.
• Completing documentation to support repair estimates.
• Working to set KPIs and turnaround times.
• Supporting the wider workshop team to maintain workflow.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with company and manufacturer standards.

The Person:

• Previous experience in a vehicle inspection or automotive role.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach.
• Able to work independently and make decisions where required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
