Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector to join a busy automotive operation in Newcastle. This role is key to ensuring vehicles meet the required standards before moving through the next stage of the process.

The Role:

As a Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out initial inspections on newly arrived vehicles
• Identifying and recording any damage, defects, or missing items
• Using handheld tablets or systems to log inspection results
• Completing documentation to support repair estimates
• Working to set KPIs and turnaround times
• Supporting the wider workshop team to maintain workflow
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with company and manufacturer standards

The Person:

• Previous experience in a vehicle inspection or automotive role
• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points for minor offences)
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach
• Able to work independently and make decisions where required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
