We are looking for an experienced Commercial Panel Technician to join a large automotive repair group in recruiting an experienced Commercial Panel Technician. You’ll be repairing and replacing panels on LCVs and HGVs, working to recognised repair methods and high-quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out both structural and cosmetic panel repairs on commercial vehicles of all types
- Removing, repairing and aligning panels in line with manufacturer-approved processes
- Using up-to-date repair equipment and techniques to ensure excellent finish and accuracy
- Working to productivity, quality and safety targets
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workshop environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Panel Technician within a bodyshop or commercial vehicle environment
- Knowledge of BSI PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite Truck & Van Standards
- Confident with MIG/MAG welding and modern panel repair methods
- ATA accreditation or similar is an advantage
- Commercial chassis or cab alignment experience is desirable
- Strong detail orientation and quality focus
- A team player with good communication and work ethic
