We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial MET Technician on behalf of a large automotive repair business in Long Bennington. You’ll be working within a well-equipped bodyshop, carrying out strip, refit and diagnostic work on a variety of LCVs and HGVs.
The Role:
- Carrying out MET strip and refit work on commercial vehicles of all makes and sizes, ensuring repairs are completed safely and efficiently
- Diagnosing faults, undertaking inspections and supporting the full repair process to high technical standards
- Ensuring work is completed in line with BSI PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite Truck & Van requirements
- Using modern tools, equipment and technology to deliver quality and consistency
- Working with other bodyshop technicians to maintain an organised and efficient workflow
- Keeping the work area clean, safe and professional at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in a bodyshop or commercial vehicle repair setting
- Confident working on both LCV and HGV vehicles
- A strong eye for detail with a commitment to quality work
- Experience working to BSI PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite Truck & Van Standards
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and trim components
- ATA accreditation (or working towards it) is advantageous
- Problem-solving ability and a professional attitude
