Salary:  £25,000 + Shift Premium for unsociable hours

Location: Hinckley (Feb to July PM) and Coventry (Aug to Jan AM)

Hours: Mornings and Afternoons

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent


Igloo have got an exciting new opportunity with one of our customers who are based in Coventry and Hinckley. Our customer is a large automotive company who deal with the logistics and distribution of automotive parts and products all over the UK and Europe.

During this role you will be required to work out of there customers premises in Hinckley during their peak period between February and July and during the quieter months August to January you will be based out of there head office in Coventry.

The Role:


  • Working Closely with the client onsite to organise outbound vehicles to international and UK destinations
  • Handling paperwork to drivers, customer and scanning to international depots
  • Organisation of transport to daily volume fluctuations
  • Audit trial shipments
  • Creating transport reports
  • Creating and managing KPI’s
  • Updating daily reports


  • Being the point of contact for certain customer
  • Manager and maintain relationships with Customers/dealer and any internal departments
  • Dealing with any customer complaints or queries in a professional and timely manor
  • Using inhouse databases to record any data
  • General administration
  • Other duties as and when required

What kind of person we are looking for?:

  • Knowledge of the transport and logistics background
  • Customer service experience
  • Confident using a computer
  • Confident dealing with customers face to face
  • Willing to learn new skills
